So a release date for patch 5.1 is probably imminent and with that you should be thinking about how gold making is going to change, and how you can make the most gold from these changes. So in the patch Spirit of Harmonies are going to be a lot more accessible as they will be purchasable with conquest points. Now I imagine that that will probably change before release as Conquest points being the lone currency for purchasing seems very odd, we may see Conquest + Valour purchases or something completely different.
But how does this effect gold making? Well epics being crafted with Spirits will be a lot more common and easy to access, creating an increase in supply. This chances are will reduce prices significantly so I would advise to wait on with buying these for your alts until a few days after the patch, and trying to shift any you currently have as soon as.
Old raid bosses will also now have a chance to drop unique battle pets, this will for sure see an increase in the ammount of people going to farm these old instances. Expect floods of the items only seen in these instances, like [Essence of Fire], [Lava Core], [Large Obsidian Shard] and other world drops. Probably not a load of profit to be made from these, but transmog fanatics still collect some of the items these items are used to create. For example [Jagged Obsidian Shield], [Black Amnesty] and a load more! So consider getting into the market for these when the materials become much easy to come by!

Time and my lack of it
So I have had hardly any time today to make any gold or play much Warcraft, managed to fit in an hour or so before but apart from that University and Social things have happening! So what do you do when you have hardly any time to make gold? You maximize your efficiency so that you can keep up your income without needing hours each day.
Once you have all your add-ons setup like TSM, Auctioneer, UMJ Notifications and others then you can log in for a few minutes whenever time becomes free and cancel then post to keep your auctions up to date! UMJ Notifications are a fantastic tool for getting told when a certain item pops up on your Auction House, using this information makes sniping items for cheap so quick and easy!
Efficiency can be something that separates one gold maker from another, you can still control markets with a busy schedule! So I have been trying to sort out a Uni house for next year, which has taken a lot of my time (And money), found a pretty sweet place for a half decent price so fairly excited about that. Black Friday deals are creeping all over the UK Online shopping market this year and temptation is killing me, I have literally no money at the moment but all the cheap electronics are killing me and I wish I could just go mental and buy myself some sweet toys!
Anyways hopefully a video coming this weekend to the YT channel but I do have a fairly tricky Java assignment to get done so I won't be promising anything.

Enchants and the current state of things
So yesterday Terrace of the Endless Springs was released on LFR, also it was a wednesday which means there are going to be a load of people rushing to sign up and hopefully get more gear. A lot of these people will be needing to Enchant and Gem there new epics and you are going to supply those to them, Wednesday's and Thursday's are fantastic days for shifting gems and enchanting scrolls as I found out yesterday.
A guildie of mine had been selling [Enchant Weapon - Windsong] all day and had generated around 25k of revenue from this enchant alone in a day, all those people getting new weapons just went to the AH and bought these out! So they cost 1 Ethereal Shard and 12 Spirit Dust to craft, very cheap to craft indeed. I was selling them like hot cakes for around 300g each, which is a massive mark up for me and an easy way to shift all the enchanting mats you get from your shufflin'.
I am currently sitting on around 440k on Darksorrow EU, with around 100k stuck on my old server. I am trying to aggressively rush to gold cap, a friend of mine have a deal that the first one to reach the million will be taken out to dinner by the other. You can follow his blog here.
I am currently shuffling a hell of a lot of ore each day, as well as trying to snipe niche rare items I think I can make a margin on. I will be trying to get into more markets once I get more professions over to Darksorrow! I will also be attempting to make a few YouTube video's over the coming weeks on different Economic Add-ons, Strategies and Practices that I can explain via video and hopefully help people who aren't as versed at the art of auctioneering.

Introduction
Hello!
I'm Matt (a.k.a Grogar) and I am starting this blog of to discuss World of Warcraft and my experiences of the game, mainly my gold making. I will be writing posts and linking things here when I feel like something is worth sharing, I imagine I will try to stick to a post per day schedule.
Right so first to introduce my self, I have been playing Warcraft for around 6 years now and raiding on a high level for around 4 of those. I played my Hunter through TBC, WotLK and the first part of Cataclysm, for Dragon Soul I changed to my Protection Warrior to help my guild progress as we found ourselves short on tanks and I never looked back! I lead a progression raid guild for over two years on Scarshield Legion EU and made a load of friends from it, although now I reside on Darksorrow EU to raid on a more laid back basis.
With the release of Mists of Pandaria me and a few guild mates decided to try and level up quickly and secure our realm firsts, we did beta testing and worked on strategies that could help us do this. We ended up being some of the first level 90's in the world, with myself being the world first level 90 Warrior. All of us were completely shocked at the speed we had managed to level, we didn't expect to rank highly in the world at all we only set out to achieve realm first rankings.
So gold making, I have been making gold for a few years now pretty extensively and have reached very close to the elusive million before Mists came out and I spent half of my stockpile on BMAH, professions and gearing characters. I am now trying to finally secure my first liquid million before a friend and rival goblin does so, this is my motivation for gold making its the competition between people to conquer markets and generate sales.
So that's basically today's posts, I will be trying to make a few YouTube video's along the way too and will link you a few things at the end so you can get to my channel aswell as other useful links.
